Freecycling?

I'm getting a bit fed up with this, as I offer up things, and then get messed around constantly by people who don't turn up, don't get back to me, etc, etc. Is there a better way, am I just unlucky?

The Freecycle group owners usually want to know when members do not pick up stuff they have asked for and you have made arrangements for them to pick it up.  They will remove repeat offenders from their groups for that.  Send an email to the group owner to let them know.

What you mention is aggravating.  I have only had two items not picked up and they did not email me to make other arrangement.  I emailed them and asked if they still wanted the stuff but never received a reply.  I kept a record to not to let those two people have my stuff in the future.

Some members of groups I belong to relist the items and add a note that the items were not picked up as arranged and  not to ask for them if they don't intend to pick them up.  This makes people think before they ask for stuff.
