About two years ago we went to Freeport. The grocery stores there were quite expensive. My question is, Do locals pay the same price for things that the tourist do? Some of the locals seem unemployed. If they do pay the same prices How can they afford it?

  1. You got it right, they don't pay the same prices the tourists pay. They go to the cheaper stores away from the tourist areas. On vacation most tourists just pay anything for the convenience of a store being close by.)

  2. They cruise over via: the Discovery to go to food stores!
