  1. If you want Sky, there's only one solution - and it's expensive.  If you're happy with BBC & Channel 4 in HD, you should be able to do it for less than £150 + £30.  Wait a few weeks until the queue has died down and you can expect to see much lower prices.

  2. It depends, i have sky plus HD and its fantastic. but half the channels are never used and hardly and of the channels i wana whach are in HD. But i do love sky plus HD so i would suggest it.

  3. No, everybody should boycott sky and then maybe we could get some sport on terrestrial TV!

  4. Sky plus is defo worth it. They have it on offer at the moment

For £150. We have HD and it is fantastic the sports in HD and the Nature programmes are superb.

  5. It depends on what you want on your tv, Freesat will have only the unencrypted channels that are available on sky & the channels that are available on freeview. You can buy a seperate recorder that will work with Freesat too (not available with Sky+ & if you cancel your Sky HD subscription you also won't have access to anything saved on your Sky HD box!). Depending on your package you will also be able to watch the movie channels that will not be available on Freesat. Is it worth it? Only if you want the added extras, freeview HD is also in the pipeline so might also be worth looking into when it comes along, you won't need to spend more on a dish when it does either!
