Freezer Shelves are too small for freezer and keep...

Question

My GE SS Side-By-Side Refrigerator/Freezer combo is new. It's had this problem since the beginning when we moved into our new home. The freezer shelves and bin are just a little too small to fit properly. When food is loaded onto them the weight of the food causes the shelf to fall... I have called GE several times on this. They have TWICE sent out new shelves, but they fit exactly like the old ones and the shelves continue to fall when loaded with food. This is a very perplexing problem and one I can not figure out. My husband tried to "bend" the shelves out a little wider, but to no avail... Appreciate any suggestions!

Purchased GE Profile side by side 9/1/08 - same thing has been happening to me - driving me nuts. To expensive to have this kind of a problem. I am trying to get it resolved thru GE....we will see!
