I have a sister who purchased an 05/2007 Holiday chest freezer, Model #LCH0501PW as of last year. (She resides in Alaska, and has minimal access to qualified help) She purchased this at a local home improvement outlet. There was a minor power surge in her area and her freezer went on the fritz. Could this be a burned motor, or is there the possibility that the unit may have a built-in circuit breaker to prevent this? Seems next to impossible to find a shcematic as this is a very inexpensive model.
