Freezer safe containers?

Question

I heard that storing food in plastic containers can cause cancer, especially when frozen. Are there any safe containers out there? are glass or ceramic containers freezable? any brand suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For food to leach enough cancer causing agents from plastic, the food would have to be in the freezer for AGES!!! The easiest (and cheapest)

thign to do is freeze your food in a glass container that's been lined with foil, wax paper or plastic wrap, depending on the food. Once it's frozen, remove it from the pan and repackage in freezer wrap. Your food will stack better in the freezer and it won't tie up your pans in long

term storage.

Better yet, if you can, get one of those Vaccum sealers, I've mine for years now and still love it! When I buy things like Pizza rolls, I repackage them in those sealer bags and it takes less room in the freeeze also!
