Freezing a bottle of soda (this is like a new question built off my old one =P)

hahahah i have this same question, but i added some details and now no one is reading them and its pretty much a new question built off the old one hahaha so here goes;

i bought two yummmmy mountain dews, and i wanna freeze one to keep it cold for the day. if i opened it and drank some first, then froze it, it wouldnt explode. I do that to water bottles. But as it melts, or after it melts again (thaws) will it taste THAT different? and how will it taste different (flat? watery? even BETTER!?) mmmmmm =) mountain dew voltage is delicious

the only thing that will happen is it will kinda seperate like be watery at some parts and thicker with flavor at others

i agree   i like voltage too....yes u will lose carbonation......and it still might explose... y dont u just try it and see?

im not exactly sure. but to be safe i would take off the cap and leave off the cap and let it freeze without the cap.

also the taste will most def change because the sugar is the first thing to melt because its not as easily kept frozen at temperatures equal to water and straight liquids. its g*y how scientific i went...but i thought id share..hahah

as a suggestion, if you like coke and root beer, take a can of coke/rootbeer, and put a can opener over the top so that there is a very clean looking hole, no ruff edges or anything, pop it in the freezer, grab a spoon and you got a frozen coke/rootbeer.

It won't explode if you do it, but as the other guys said, it will loose carbination so it will taste flat PLUS once it unfreezes, it will taste wicked watery! Trust me!
