Question:

Freezing opened baby food?

Is it okay to freeze what is leftover in a jar of prunes? I usually make my own baby food but needed some prunes quick(poor guy) and now I have an almost full jar left. Can I stick it in a freezer cube thing and freeze it? I don't see a reason not to, just checking. Thanks.

  1. As long as he didn't eat straight out of the jar, there's no reason why you can't freeze the leftovers.

I probably have frozen left-over baby food at the back of my freezer somewhere.....LOL

  2. I dont see why you couldnt.

Then again im not sure so im not going to say yes or no. lol.

and that edit to my pissed question made me laugh so thanks! lol

  3. Yes you sure can

I do that with juices when I open them..I pour some in the ice cube trays and when I want to give him some juice I put a couple cubes in his sippy and pour in some room temp water and shake it really good and he has some cold juice and I don't have to worry about it going bad after 5-7 days in the fridge..since everyone knows they don't need that much juice...He is 17 months old and loves his one juice sippy a day...
