Freight trains and cargo ships?

Question

Does anybody have any information about freight trains running from northern Utah to the east coast? Also, does anybody have any information about cargo ships that go from the east coast to italy? or europe? Like would somebody give me some websites i could go to? Also, from somebody with railroad and cargo ship experience, what is secuity like around those kind of things?

Security is tight, and they are especially on the lookout for fifteen year old girls.

Jumping on a train and stowing away on a ship are both federal offenses at the felony level, and you could be tried as an adult and go to prison for 10-15 years.  So don't try it.

Not to mention the personal dangers.  If you did sneak in, you would be caught at sea and the risk that you would be gang raped, beaten to death, and thrown overboard would be very high.  That is not a joke, but a real warning.

(Not all crews would do that, but enough would to make it a real danger.)

Didn't we scare you badly enough when you posted this same question yesterday?  By now you should see that the answer is "no," and nobody is going to tell you different.

If you want to go to Italy, you need to start saving money and applying for a passport now.  Get a job or a rich boyfriend, ASAP.

goodness gracious you are one brave girl but oh what an imagination you have and your dreams!!!  though Im not saying they are very smart or safe but they're dreams none the less.  I applaud you for being so brave in thought to want to plan to sneak onto a railroad care or freight train and hitch a ride all the way to Europe, of course you know you'd be lucky if you made it to the next state before the 'Amber Alert' caught up with ya.  hey, whose to deny ya your dreams, right?  just keep em that, dreams, with that imagination, you can become somebody, do some great things. just be smart and be safe doing them.  :-)  God bless, and good luck

Security is tight.

I remember from one of epiosde from "Police Technology", one police properly California harbor has special police truck and scans containers to see the cotainers to see if there's stolen vehicle, illegal aliens, etc.

i have a friend who works on cargo ships and has been around the globe as such.  it wouldn't  be a good idea to sneak onto one -- if you're caught, the captain would put you to hard work until the next port, and then you'd have to pay your own ticket home.  just don't do it.

but you can buy your way onto one, sleeping in a room, everything.

i agree with the previous poster: google rail or cargo transport.

There is no railroad company that goes all the way from Utah to the east coast.  The ride would take a long time.  Freight does not move that fast across the country.  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœHot Freight” such as produce and other perishables take three days from coast to coast.  The other people who answered your question talked about security and they are right.  The one thing that you have to remember is that the railroads and the cargo ship ports are federally regulated.  That means if you get caught, you could be charged with a federal crime of trespassing.  Besides, you being a young girl and all alone on your trip, you will more than likely wake up dead or raped.  You know those strange men who hang out at street corners and dark alleys, well; they also hang out in railroad freight yards.
