    only one good thing is they never fail but that all you can say about them besides you will be deaf in 2 years

    I believe Train Operating Companies could specify the level of comfort (1-5).  EWS ordered the cheapest spec, which explains why these locomotives are despised by drivers.

  10. There are over 400 of these locomotives that were built for various private railway companies in this country.   They were built by General Motors/EMD in London, Ontario, Canada.
