  1. I know from being in a French class that dogs are like almost worshipped there... so if you go into a restaurant, there will be a nasty *** dog in there.

They eat way healthier than we do.

There water... don't drink it. Unless you like mineral water.

    Families do eat together...

& if you go on a date, & you're a teenager, they go on group dates. It's wrong for them if it's a singles date.

If I had my textbook, I would be able to tell you a lot of things, but I don't.

  3. The French eat lightly at breakfast. Typically a person will have just a piece of bread with some butter and/or jam and a cup of Cafe au lait (strong coffee and hot milk mixed half and half) or hot chocolate.

Traditionally people ate the largest meal of the day at noon although this is generally not the case in the modern day, especially in the city. The French are slowly embracing fast food and there is a proliferation of multinational chains like McDonald's (which the French call McDo's).

Dinner is taken very late by American and British standards and is generally not eaten untill 8:00 PM or later. A traditonal French dinner consists of a first course (called an entree),  a main course (plat principal) and either a dessert or some cheese.

Wine traditionally accompanies food at both lunch and dinner. The American habit of drinking soft drinks or coffee with food is not generally practiced.

Coffee is usually taken after the meal and will usually be strong, black, espresso.
