  1. . Deserved penalty for Hamilton.

    . Undeserved penalty for Kovalinen.

. Ferrari unbeatable at France again.

. Trulli drove superbly as did Ferrari's, Piquet, Kovalinen, Kubica and Webber : )

. Alonso, Hamilton and Button disappointing : (

. Kimi should of pitted for the removal of exhaust section.

. Confused by Heidfeld, reckon he had a bet with Rosbif to finish 13Th!

  2. Trully 's tenacity - truely tanalizing!

  3. Nakajima should have got a 5 place drop too.

Ferrari made the right call not calling Raikkonen to the pits.

    Bittersweet weekend for Raikkonen.

Great race for Trulli - For Ove Anderson.

Good points finishes for both Renaults.

    Ferrari's pace was remarkable.

    BMW's had unfortunate understeer problems.

  4. Good to see Hamilton brought down another peg or two and to see the smile wiped off Dennis's face.

  5. Kimi should have been black flagged - oh, but I forgot, he's driving a Ferrari so the rules don't apply.  To the stewards: That's what those black/orange flags are for.  If you wait long enough, the part may fall off and the driver won't have to stop, thereby saving him from a lengthy pitstop and the loss of as many as 8 points.  How would this have been handled if the exhaust had gone through another driver's visor?

  6. yeah it was ok. I agree it was nice to see massa winning and truli had a great race. There have been better races tho!

  7. Puzzling to see the huge gap between Ferrari and the "other two teams" - is this going to be the trend in the next few races?

Kimi was lucky to have finished the race and not be orange flagged.

Lewis' drive through penalty was a little bit harsh, but I think the stewards got it right. Lewis wouldn't have made that move on Vettel if there was a wall/gravel.

Trulli - pure grit. The old man can still race. And oh-so diplomatic during the post race interview.

Alonso - yes, he did make a mistake, but surely, he could have overtaken Piquet.  I think he just let him finish before him - that Spaniard is a nice guy deep down. He knows how much pressure poor Piquet is under.

    Only one retirement!

Did I hear Fisichella's name mentioned during the race? I don't think so.

  8. I expected more of BMW. Overall it ws an alright weekend. Trulli drove really briliantly and managed to defend position. Piquet Jr has stepped up and I hope he keeps this up. It would be a shame to see him fired.

Once again there's a Ferrari-McLaren debate. But I won't discuss this. It was really scary seeing that exhaust pipe dangling from Kimi's car. Had he not that problem, I think he would have won instead of Massa. However, I am thankful that he managed to finish the race.

Bourdais' flying rear wing in the middle of the track was dangerous as well. What if someone hit it? Anyway, now that France is over, I look forward to Silverstone.

  9. well,it wasn`t the best GP but it had some interesting moments..Nelson got some well deserved points and

a Ferrari 1-2 and now great to see Massa leading the championship..

  10. Boring race, but a couple of things I was happy with:

Jarno Trulli finishing in 3rd (first podium since Spain '05) and what a way to pay tribute to the founder Ove Anderson (He would've been proud!).And for also dealing with the pressure from Robert Kubica,Fernando Alonso, and Heikki Kovalainen (final 10 laps with that battle was great!).

Nelson Piquet finally finishing a race (and earning his first points) after such a horrible start to the season.

Kimi Raikkonen:Despite having that exhaust problem, he was able to finish in 2nd.

All I have to say is what the h**l is going on with Renault?! Fernando was capable of getting a podium, but poor start at the beginning, lack of race pace, and poor strategy cost them this opportunity! Renault have to really get their act together if they want to acheive their goal of getting a podium this season!

  11. BMW's were disappointing, Fernando was disappointing after qualifying well, Heikki's penalty was disappointing, Lewis's performance was disappointing.

Jarno did well, Kudos to him for his respect of Ove Andersson. Good performances from the Red Bulls. Young Piquet did well to pass Alonso, bet he loved that lol

I think Kimi had a bit of bad luck with that exhaust. Shame he had to relinquish the lead, but at least it was to his team mate and not a full blown rival.

I'm going to be really sarcastic now, at least the haters can't say Kimi's slow pace was Hamiltons fault this time eh

  12. Boring race except for the Ferrari's going 1-2 and Trulli finishing third.

  13. I thought it was a good race, plenty of good racing with lots of the drivers, shame kimi didn't win but least he still scored eight points.

Hamilton lost the plot again when things didn't go his way like he did a couple of times last year and done twice so far this year, I thought it was great he didn't score any points this race.

Great drive from trulli he deserved to be on the podium, Nelson drove a great race hope we see more of what he did in the rest of the season.

Looking forward now till the next race.

  14. I'll be sarcastic too, given that lewis commented before the race that starting from the back is what make legends, well, I hope he does it more often. That was certainly legendary drive from him. Not taking any cars out this time.

Nothing much to say about it, it was a pretty normal race. Ferrari swep the floor with everyone else.

Its a shame Kimi car malfunctioned, and I felt a little bad about Massa's celebration. I mean yeah he could be happy about it, but it was clearly Kimi's race, Massa didn't have the pace to keep up. The only reason he was up there is because Kimi had a misfortune

I don't recall Michael Schumacher celebrating like that when he won because his rival had a misfortune. He even went to Mika and gave him a hug.

Schumacher would never celebrated such victory they way Massa did.

  15. A pretty boring race but it was nice to see Trulli stickin' it to a Mclaren and ending up on the podium as he did.  Heikki did a good race, probably would have got behind the Jarno sooner if he hadn't let Lewis pass him and hold him up early in the race.

  16. Massa got the upper hand at a critical pont in the championship but cannot expect Ferrari to put their weight behind him just yet.

Had it been the other way round they might have given it some thought.

Trully is my kind of driver, fast qualifier, smooth racer, won't crack under pressure although I didn't like how he put Heiki on the grass, that was something Kovalainen may want to have a word about with Jarno.

  17. Bit of a boring race - was hoping for some rain or a safety car so Hamilton had a chance to impress us all, but no.

But since the penalty things are over Hamilton will have nothing hanging over him in Silverstone :)

  18. Boring due to rules and penalties

    Hoping for a wet race

LET THE CARS RACE .... and not dance with each other
