Week 11 in the French top flight was nothing less than spectacular. Paris Saint-Germain’s unbeaten run came to an end, seven goals were scored at Stade de Gerland, and the likes of Lille, Bordeaux and Rennes won their respective matches in a busy
yet entertaining week in the Ligue 1
LOSC Lille registered their 4th win of the season with a comfortable 4-0 win over Evian TG, and Troyes held champions Montpellier to a 1-1 draw at Stade de l'Aube.
Lille on the way up
The 2010/2011 champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 continued their recent good form with another convincing win away from home. Evian TG provided little opposition to LOSC allowing them to climb up the table. It was Lille’s third Ligue 1 win in a row with Nolan Roux and

Coach, Rudi Garcia is pleased with his side’s consistency and is hoping for more positive results in the upcoming games.
"Our good run continues and we're continuing to rise up the table, even if you can't see it all that much. But if we continue like this, we'll be in the part of the table where we want to be.”
Things are looking good for the club from Northern France and if they continue playing like this, they can once again challenge the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille and Lyon for the Championelle.
Bordeaux impress again
Girondins de Bordeaux continued their impressive start to the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign with a hard-fought win over in-form Toulouse at Stade Chaban-Delmas. With that win, Les Girondins have climbed to seventh in the table and coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-c13946 Gillot is more
than pleased with the way things are going for his side at the moment.
The Frenchman has praised the players for playing with such attitude and has congratulated them for their impressive performance against Toulouse.
“Today I am really satisfied with their performance. I have to congratulate the players for their performance against an impressive Toulouse side”
Toulouse coach, Alain Casanova, would be disappointed with the defeat as a win would have sent his side above Lyon in the table. However, things are looking bright for Les Pitchouns and the coach would be hoping to get back to winning ways as early as possible
with TFC set to take on AC Ajaccio in their next Ligue 1 match.
The curious case of Montpellier
The reigning French champions once again failed to claim all three points as they were held to 1-1 draw by a stubborn Troyes side at Stade de l'Aube. Montpellier have failed to find their best form this season and with just 12 points on the table, La Paillade
are 14th in the league.
Coach, Rene Girard knows that MHSC need to find the winning formula soon if they want to achieve something this season. Defending their Ligue 1 title seems pretty unrealistic now, but La Paillade can still push for a podium finish.
"We could have done better, but at least we're not going home empty-handed,” the Frenchman said about his side’s 1-1 draw against Troyes.
Week 11 in Ligue 1 was full of surprises and more is expected in the upcoming weeks. League leaders, Paris Saint-Germain will face Montpellier while impressive looking http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 will play host to OGC Nice. Lyon’s match against Sochaux would
be the one to watch along with the clash between Lorient and Bordeaux.
