French Ligue 1 transfer news – http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florian-Marange-c13860 extends stay at Bordeaux
Reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986 amidst interest from several Qatari clubs who are fighting for the 31-year-old’s signature.
Though Hadji still has a year left on his current contract with Nancy, the player feels that it is time for him to move to a new club where he might get more chances of playing regular football. French football magazine L’Equipe suggests that Hadji has already been contacted by a few Qatari clubs though the names of the clubs have not yet been disclosed. Though Nancy are reluctant in letting go of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Morocco-c2961 International, Nancy might let him go if they receive four million Euros for the midfielder’s transfer.
Hadji signed for Nancy in January 2007 from fellow Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais. Nancy paid 1.2 million Euros for the services of the versatile midfielder. Since then, Hadji has been an integral part of Les Chardons squad and has so far made 101 appearances for Nancy and has scored 30 goals.
Meanwhile, Girondins de Bordeaux left-back, Florian Marange is reportedly ready to extend his contract at the club. The former France Under-21 international signed for Bordeaux in 2004 but after making 50 appearances for Les Girondins, was loaned out to first Le Havre AC (2009) and then to Nancy Lorraine (2009/2010). However, the defender returned to the club in 2010 and made just 12 appearances for Bordeaux in the 2010/2011 Ligue 1 season.
The fine form of left-back, Benoit Tremoulinas was the main reason behind Marange’s lack of first-team opportunities. However, reports suggest that Tremoulinas might leave Bordeaux amidst interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-c13946 Gillot next season.
Marange is currently considering extending his stay at Stade Chaban Delmas for two more years which could be a good decision for both the club and the player. The imminent departure of Tremoulinas would leave the club with just one recognised left-back and Bordeaux are keen on keeping Marange at the club while extending his stay would give Marange a great chance to kick start his career once again after a disappointing last season.
