French Open Women's Draws?

Who thinks Svetlana Kuznetsova's section is unfair? She's basically garanteed a spot in the Final Four!

Also, who do u think will win in the fourth round Dinara Safina or Maria Sharapova if that is the case?

base on kuznetsova performance on clay this season... she's out.... so, she might be a major upset in Roland garros this year but everything is possible and i guarantee her to reach at least quarterfinal...

safina could win the match against sharapova based on her potential on clay..

and beating 3 top 10 players to won Berlin title... but sharapova manage to win the match as she improve a lot on clay...

the match maybe in 3 sets.,...

Sharapova would win the 4th round. Dinara is good, but Maria is better. Although, I don't think it would be an easy battle.

They have to come up with a better way to pick the other contenders, because too often the draws are lopsided, where one guy has a battle royale compared to some others.

yeh lol basically most of the competition is in the bottom half there's like the williamses, jj n ana ivo but hey usually the top seeds that get easy draws will end up shocking everyone by getting out in the first 4 rounds or so.

Kuznetsova is never a guarantee for the semis.  She often loses to much lower ranked players, especially this clay court season.  She'll be lucky to get to the quarters.  The two things going in her favor is that she has had some success at Roland Garros, reaching the final in 2006, and that Justine Henin quit.   As far as a possible Safina vs. Sharapova, I think it's a toss up.  Safina has been playing great tennis this clay court season, sending Henin packing in he last match of her career, and taking out Serena the next day.  Also, she beat Sharapova at Roland Garros in 2006, but we'll have to see what form both players are in heading into that match.
