French Schengen visa?

Does anyone know how long it takes to recieve a Schengen Visa from the French Consulate in Los Angeles? I have a Bangladeshi passport and am leaving in a week for the UK. My appointment for the visa is two days prior to my departure date!!! anyone know if the visa is given within the same day as the appointment? thanks!

no; the visa will not be given that fast ,but if you have an appointment and you have filled out all the necessary ,just ask them , since you have the appointment already , you may get it that day ?

do you have a visa for the UK ? if you asked for a visa for France , you must first enter France for your visa to be valid.
