Question:

French Style Cribbing Collar?

My horse has been using the Miracle Collar, however, he's figured out how to get it off. So I made it tighter, but it rubs the hair off of him and he still manages to get it off. Someone suggested the French Style Cribbing Collar. Has anyone had any experience using this collar?

  1. We used one of those and she managed to break it. I've no idea what she did but she killed it. I have never heard of any other horse doing that. I hope you have more luck than we did.

  2. I use one because I found the Miracle Collars rubbed too much too.  I've used mine for 8+ years and it works quite well, as long as you put it on tight enough.

  3. yeah

    theyre called nutcracker collars too

they can be as much of a pain as the kind youve got, but its prob worth a try
