  1. The French have been making their bread for centuries, it was the staple of all meals and it was easy and cheap to make. The baker was also one of the most important people in the village. Their bread is so good, mostly because they've been making it for so long (and butter). It's almost a central part of their culture.

  2. The crunch on the outside and the softness on the inside, and when you put the butter on the outside or dip it in soup it is soooo heavenly...

  3. There is not butter in bread.

    Farine + eau + sel + levure....... c'est tout !!!!!

  4. crunchy crust and a sweet bread center

  5. lots of butter!!

  6. olive oil...

    or butter...

    :)...

  7. The carbs. Yum.

It's the simplicity of the soft inside and crunchy outside. Delish.

  8. The French appreciate their food and put their heart and time into it. In France beinq a chef or a waiter is a very hiqh position to have. They also put a lot of fats and carbs into their recpies and mix up many inqredients in their recipies since obecidey and beinq over weight there isn't a problem and neither is heart disease.  But, since they drink so much wine in France the French have many liver probelms.
