Despite enduring a difficult season off the pitch, the highly rated France midfielder is one of the first names on France coach Laurent Blanc’s team-sheet and Team France are highly supportive of their player
The 21-year-old is one of the brightest prospects of French football. The Rennes defensive midfielder has received a huge amount of praise from the fans and pundits. Assuring displays of the Frenchman for club and country have seen him linked with top European
sides. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan are rumoured to be interested in the midfielder.
On the field, no one denies the capabilities of the France international. It is off the field issues that are giving him a bad name. The 21-year-old lived a horrible season off the field with several cases filed against him. The troubled youngster was arrested
a month ago after being charged for assaulting a 17-year-old girl.
Many other cases have enhanced the bad reputation of the midfielder.  However, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international believes that not all the cases against him are true. According to the 21-year-old, the media is spreading false rumours about him.
A recent controversy surrounding the Rennes man appeared in news when it was claimed that the midfielder arrived 10 minutes late for the France’s first warm-up match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Iceland-c2921. However, Yann M’Vila has denied those claims and slammed the press for
spreading false news about him.
While talking to reporters, the Frenchman angrily denied those reports and claimed that he was well on time with the rest of the squad.
“I just got here and they (press) are talking about delay while I'm on time. I don’t know what the problem is. That's what I did not understand. Even the coach asked me if I was late. I said no. I asked the security chief, if I was late. And he said no,
you're not late. But I do not understand why I am being targeted. This is nonsense.”
On his troublesome past, Yann M’Vila accepted that he made few mistakes in the past. However, the Frenchman said that it is not right to criticise someone for the stuff he did in past.
“I did stupid things this year. But press criticism should be limited. There are many players who have ruined their careers because of the press criticism. Yes, I sometime lose my temper but basically, I am a very calm person.”
The France midfielder hopes that he does not get the label of bad boy of France because he wants to be a perfect example for his children.
