Hi everybody. I am a black french citizen, 21 yo and i have a highschool diploma. I would like to go to England or Ireland and work there from july 21st maybe to the end of August. I would like like to find accomodation in these countries (by finding roommate maybe) I do not know which country to choose. I understand the american accent but sometimes i have a hard time understanding british accent ( sometimes i cant understand what skynews journalists are saying at all) and i heard the Irish accent was even worse (no disrespect) What country would you advise me to go to? Where am i most likely to understand people accent in England? What about Ireland? Where am i most likely to find cheap accomodation (by finding a roommate maybe) in these countries? I do not have a driving license where should i go in these countries? I mean where is there good public transportation? What job am i most likely to get? How should i write my cover letter and resume. Help me find accomodation please

  1. are you winding us up?

you can't understand the posh sky news journalists!

if you can understand english, you should be able to understand the toffs on there.

  2. i terms of accents - may i suggest the midlands (not birmingham) as the accents are plain

jobs? have a look at some websites for temporary posts, or have a look at your local leonardo placement programme, as you may be able to get work expereince somewhere set up with accomodation

no car? public transport is ok in britain - ireland is a little more sparce depending where you go
