French citizenship/nationality?

Question

My gran was born and raised in Brittany, France. She moved to Jersey channel islands to live with my grandpa. She revoked her French nationality so that my dad wouldnt have to be forced to join the French army. I love France and can speak French and may want to live there someday. Is there any way I can reclaim my lost nationality?

you can acquire french citizenship , either by direct family ties such as parents who is french ,residing in France for 5 years .
