Academica’s Ibrahim Sissoko on the radar of French clubs
French clubs http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127, Rennes, Sochaux and Lille have reportedly targeted Academica’s Ivorian striker Ibrahim Sissoko, and will move in with offers in the January transfer window.
The Ivory Coast forward has been linked with a switch to Chelsea in recent times but the Londoners are yet to actually secure his services. Alongside Andre Villas-Boas’ team, his former employers FC Porto are also gunning for the Academica star.
Porto have been on the look for a quality attacker since the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276, and Ibrahim Sissoko could be the man they are looking for.
Now the list of suitors is increasing and the likes of Marseille, Rennes, Sochaux and Lille have registered their interest in the front-man.
While the attention from top European sides is there, Sissoko was keen to deflect off rumours and said that although he would want to sign for one of the interested clubs, he is still an Academica player and is focused at the helm.
"It's flattering. I also know that Chelsea has seen me play but for the time being, I prefer to stay focused on my season with Académica.”

Sissoko was quoted as saying.
However any potential transfer will have wait till January, when the transfer window reopens.
FC Porto’s Kleber still undergoing treatment

The former Maritimo man picked up an injury in the last European fixture against Zenit St. Petersburg and has been sidelined ever since. However, his aim is to make a return in the Cup tie against Pero Pinheiro or the APOEL game.
