  1. Thai food! Yummmmy. Also I hate French food - too fatty.

  2. My dear,

It's totally a matter of taste, so, what kind of food do you usually like ?

French food has flavours of herbs and garlic, While Thai has peppers, sauce and chilli flavours.

In both cuisines , you could easily find what would suit your taste buds best if you knew the ingredients.

I would take my wife and kids to both, in the Thai, my kids like the starters most, but not the full meal dishes. While at a French  restaurant, they stick to steak and things they know.

So, I am sure if the company is right, you will have a great night out, as both cuisines have something to suit everyone.

    I hope this helps :-)

  3. French food for me is the best because I am French...but

I love Thai food too and a lot of other ethnic food. Having the choice is fantastic.

@ no1cleaat : If French are monkeys..you are a baboon and a clown! keep eating your hamburgers! leave the good food to people who appreciate it! Baboon!

@ Shana : who has weight problem ? American or French ?

French has less cardiovascular problems than American!

@EJ : French sucks??  I guess you have short memory ....

France  played a key role in aiding the revolution, providing the American patriots with money and munitions, organizing a coalition against Britain, and sending an army and a fleet that played a decisive role at the battle that effectively ended the war at Yorktown.

And YES....I am thankful because American helped us in WWII ! Because I am French and not stubborn  I can acknowledge facts like this one and you don't!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too all other Q/R: thank you for being nice with French. I don't understand why some people are so mean to us! No nation is perfect !

  4. Thai - because its not french.

french - cheese eating surrender monkeys - grounds keeper Willie ,the Simpson's

  5. you'll probably want to go w/ the thai , mainly because no one really likes the french + you don't want to be mistaken for one , something could happen to your food

  6. Thai! Most of the time it's pretty light

  7. Do you have a very refined and sensetive palate to appreciate subtle flavors? Then go for French. I find it rather bland most of the time and I am not big on paying high price for raw escargot or stinky fromage! Unless you are scared of spices go Thai. Thai food is spicy: bold and beautiful, and really really versatile. I personally love most Thai dishes.

  8. both but french is better

  9. ill go for thai cuisine, nearer to the flavors of my home cuisine, probably healthier too, usage of butter is minimal or none at all compared to french.

  10. I like french better!

  11. Definately Thai

  12. THAI....yummy!!!!!

  13. Go with Thai! <333

But in the end, it actually depends on what you or your date wants... and besides, dont worry... you'll know what you want when you crave for it =]... maybe in the end, you might go somewhere else

  14. You should take into consideration whether your date is adventurous enough to like Thai food.

For example: How would he feel about a seafood soup that has a whole baby octopus in it? Or Crispy whole fish served head, tail, fins and all? Can he stand the smell of fermented fish sauce?

If the answer is no, just proceed to a French resto and order escargot (snails).

  15. French...the food is better...some pate, escargot, and french onion soup...oh yeah, a nice bottle of wine.

  16. Thai

    French  sucks

  17. Thai, it is more comforting and less pretentious. You can relax instead of stressing over whether you are pronouncing things right and whether you have ordered the frog's legs bym mistake. Although french desserts are to die for, I love the sweet sticky coconut rice or any red bean dessert.

  18. thai

  19. mm thai.. cos its my fav!! ;-) french food is gorgeous too though, but its a bit undercooked for me so I tend to stick with the casseroles .. enjoy whatever you have!! xx

  20. Anything but French
