French door shades or something of that nature?

okay, i have double french doors going out onto my screened porch and patio. i would like to put something up so that at night you could have a little privacy, but we are constantly in and out of the doors. what would be the smartest thing to use? curtains, tie them back during the day, shades or something else? the doors are in the dining room, so i need something that is going to look nice all the time as well. thanks!

The make panels for French doors of semi sheer curtain material.  They have a rod top and bottom to hold them secure to the doors.  They allow light, but offer privacy.  They are often gathered in the middle both length and width and ties there for additional light.

Another option would be to apply a frosted glass film to some or all the panes of glass.  You can buy it at Lowes.
