French game...?

do you have any ideas for a French board game which helps teach French?

i have to choose a topic then devise a game that teaches that topic (for example a topic could be numbers, weather, clothes, sports, etc).

any ideas for a board game helping teach students French?

  1. I use "Guess who" quite often. It's great to teach:

    - clothes

    - shapes

    - colours

    - Questions (obviously)

    - Personality (you'll have to use your imagination here...)

    You could also use cluedo, it's good for:

    - rooms in a house

    - colours

    - directions

    Or you could use "connect 4", "battleships", "tic tac toe" and change the grids to suit the topics you want to teach

    I find that I can use loads of existing board games and adapt them slightly to suit the topics I'm interested in.

How about a game that teaches people directions in France?  The board could be a map of Paris.  The objective could be to learn how to get from the airport to all of the major attractions in Paris.  You could have a deck of cards that would have directions on them, such as "tournez a gauche" or "traversez la rue" or "prend le metro".

    You take it from there.
