Along with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 in Parma
After beating Italy on their own turf in an international friendly in Parma on Sunday, November 14, 2012, Didier Deschamps’ France have indeed confirmed that they are on the rise again. The victory over Cesare Prandelli’s side came after Les Bleus’ 1-1 draw
against reigning World and European champions http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 in a 2014 World Cup qualification campaign.
Les Bleus showed true grit and heart against the Spaniards and against Italy, they were indeed in fine form and their performance has given hope to the whole nation of better days to come. Although in the first half the French struggled to dominate the game,
the second half was a different story altogether.
There were a few changes made in the side by Deschamps and these changes indeed paid off. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jeremy-Menez-c18345 were in great form. Although Etienne Capoue was not himself, the young midfielder should
be given some benefit of the doubt considering the fact that he was playing only his third game for the national side.
The aforementioned players performed brilliantly and have indeed put up a strong case for future reference, meaning that Didier Deschamps will have selection headaches when the World Cup qualification campaign resumes.
Blaise Matuidi
The young midfielder who joined Paris Saint-Germain from AS Saint-Etienne last year seems to be a different man this season. Excellent for his club and equally good for his national side, the holding midfielder was walking on water last night and did well
to contain the threat of club teammate Marco Verratti and kept busy throughout the game. Very strong physically, the PSG’s player’s tackling was effective and he distributed the ball equally well.
And, following another commanding performance, the former ASSE man could become a regular starter for Didier Deschamps’ side in future.
Etienne Capoue
The young Toulouse midfielder was not at his usual best and often lost balls. However, there were flashes of the youngster’s brilliance every now and then so one should not criticise the player for a relatively poor outing considering the high standards
he sets whenever he plays.
Moussa Sissoko
Another Toulouse man is slowly making his name under the colours of Les Bleus and could become a regular under Didier Deschamps’ tutelage. Positioned higher up the park that Matuidi, Sissoko paired up with Capoue down the right, the youngster had a decent
game even though he still has to learn a bit more about the offensive side of things. He was later on replaced by debutant Benoit Tremoulinas in the 90th minute.
Jermey Menez
The Paris Saint-Germain star replaced Franck Ribery in the 64th minute and immediately made an impact three minutes after his introduction. It was his pass that was tucked into the net by Bafetimbi Gomis. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 man has been in fine form
for club and Deschamps has started trusting him so a starting role may be a possibility.

and merits more chances with Les Bleus.
