  1. Yes, I do..know.

    3 choices :

    A) formal :

inversion necessary : verb + subject + complement

    Partons-nous aujourd'h*i : Are we leaving today?

    B) a positive sentence said with a question mark in the voice :

    Nous partons aujourd'h*i ?

    C) colloquial/familiar

    Est-ce que nous partons aujourd'h*i?

Only the formal version needs an inversion ( verb + subject).

    Hope this helps.

  2. Three ways of asking a question :

    1. Est-ce que + subject+ verb+complement. Est-ce que nous sommes heureux(se)?

    2. You invert the verb and the subject. We are happy( nous sommes heureux(se)=Sommes-nous heureux(se)?

    3. For familiar talking, you just add a question mark. Nous sommes heureux(se)?
