French striker Djibril Cisse completes his move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775: Serie A news
Italian giants, Lazio, have confirmed the signing of Panathinaikos striker, Djibril Cisse, for an approximate fee of 6-million-Euros.
Cisse had agreed personal terms with the club a few weeks back and has now penned a four year contract after passing the medical. The club had already signed five new players this season and Cisse has become the sixth. The Frenchman is the second of the strikers the club have signed this summer. The Biancazzurri signed former Bayern Munich star, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miroslav-Klose-c26049, last month.
Club President, Claudio Lotito, presented the former Olympique Marseille star to the media and said that Klose and Cisse are two different style strikers and he is confident that both of them will adjust at Stadio Olimpico Rome.
Talking to the reporters the President said, “Miroslav Klose is austere, Cissè more extrovert. Klose is German and represents an austere style, so you can tell how reserved he is, Cissè, on the other hand, stands out with his extrovert nature. Both are important players, but individuals must be put towards helping the collective. There are no idols.”
“That’s not my style, as I am more pragmatic. I’ll present him to fans the same way I present everyone.”
Lazio finished fifth in the Serie A table in the 2010/11 season. The Biancocelesti spent majority of the campaign in the top four but struggled after the winter break. Lazio struggled with their attacking options last season, as none of their strikers played well. Midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hernanes-c16150, who was playing in his debut season with the club, finished as the top goal-scorer with 12 goals in all competitions.
