French swim team men's relay?

Why did france talk **** before the mens swim relay and now they are pissed off because we are rubbing it in all over the internet don't you agree that they deserve it since they started it?

They should have known better than to talk smack BEFORE a race.

Come on...how many of them watched the 2000 Sydney Games when USA's Gary Hall did the EXACT same thing. When the press asked him what was going to happen with the Aussies in the 4x100 Free relay (btw Hall was also anchoring the USA relay-ironic huh?) and he replied "We're going to smash them like guitars'.

After the Aussies thoroughly thrashed the US relay they began strumming air guitars on the pool deck.

Smack is simply disrespectful. They say if you can't stand the heat then stay out of the kitchen. If they can't back up the smack then 'shut up'. Let your swimming do the talking.

Alain Bernard invited this when he opened his mouth. However, the interview I saw he was taking his 'punishment' rather well and was ready to move on.

Who's pissed off?

Wasn't that a great race though?

h**l yes! What a bunch of mama's boys.  Man up Frenchies.  But, you can not judge France by a few whiners. There has always been a lot whining with the US boxers too. Remember Fernando Vargas?  I do.

anybody who swam a race like that diserves to brag, and anybody who's talk smack about the USA diserves what they get two. Maybe next time they'll think twice before opening there big fat mouths.

they DEFINITELY deserve it. they talked smack because on paper.....they really were expected to beat us. but they didnt. and now they can't handle it. boo freakin' hoo!
