  1. I am 95% sure that person is wearing acrylics, but I'm sure you could do it as long as you use good polishes. First thing is to be sure to put a base coat on after filing to shape your nails. When filing-be sure to file in one direction to prevent the nail from chipping. Use a pink french color for the nail, and a French white for the tip. Be sure to do two THIN coats and let them dry completely. Patience is golden when it comes to nails. After you're done with the tip, wait until it is dry and apply a clear coat to prevent the nail polish from chipping.

  2. take a piece of tape and put it on your nail EXCEPT for the tips and then paint white. then the white wont go on the rest of your nail.

  3. I work at a Nail Salon and we use these brushes that we use to paint neater, "even", tips. Otherwise, it's pretty hard.

  4. those look like press ons...you could do that yoursself. If your nails are already long, you could paint them yourself...it might take some practice but its nail polish...if you mess up it comes off, and you try again. They even sell little arch guides to help you pain the curve. If your nails are short, its kind of hard to do acrylic, or gels to yourself. And it can get expesive to buy all the necessary supplies to do them yourself.

  5. Not at all. Ever hear of White Out?

  6. You could try to do it yourself, it might take you a while if you want them to look perfect. good luck.
