  1. go to the sites. like monuments and stuff. check out the louvre (art museum) other monuments to. Definatly check out the Eiffel tower. There is an elevator inside of it and there is also a very fancy restaurant in the middle, with a beautiful view of Paris. Also go to cafes and take a walk at night. The lights are so beautiful =]

  2. I'd spend a few days in Paris (4 perhaps), then take the train to Normandy (Chartres is close and Mont St. Michel is a must)  its only a couple of hours by train from Paris and worth the trip.

I would then spend a week in the Lang d'Oc region visiting Carcassonne, Sete and the Minervois region.

If you can, get to either Bordeaux (south west), Aix-en-Provence (south east) or the Alsace (near German border) regions too.

Honestly, anywhere you go you will meet a "different" France.  Each region has its own culture, people, history and most often its own regional language as well.

  3. You could visit "Annecy", "Strasbourg" and what is called "le bassin d'Arcachon".

These places are all different and they are really beautiful. You will need to take the TGV (train) to get around the country.

What you could do is: spend at least 5 days in Paris, then you could go to Strasbourg and visit the "Alsace" region. After that you could go and visit "le bassin d'arcachon" area. Finally, you could spend a day or two in "Annecy" (the lake is gorgeous and the mountains....) and, if you still have some time left, from there, go South to the French riviera (St Tropez, Fréjus...). If you are more interested in the maritime side of France then you could skip Annecy I guess.

These are only suggestions: there are tons of other places in France that are worth checking out (i.e. Mont Saint Michel)

    Enjoy your trip!

  4. it depends what you like (cities with monuments ,museum ...) or sea, mountain ,castle ..... some suggestions: Perigord is a superb region with prehistoric sites ,middle age castles and very nice villages ;the city of Annecy near the Alpes (you can go to Chamonix to see the Mont-blanc ) with is a beautiful city with a nice lake ;or chateaux de la loire ,cote d'azur ....

  5. go to paris there are beautiful monuments

  6. 1  Dijon
