The Keith Dalgleish-trained brown gelding, Frequency, is keen to keep his impressive record at Hamilton racecourse intact by winning the Scottish Racing Claiming Stakes that will be held on Tuesday, July 3. The Class 6 contest over 5 furlongs and 4 yards
is scheduled to commence at 3:00 (GMT).
In the £2,045 event, the five-year-old veteran horse will face four strong competitors under Joe Fanning who has previously driven him to earn some classic conquests.
The brilliant son of Starcraft out of Soundwave has delivered some outstanding performances at the same track where he is going to show his guts today.
On May 6, 2012, the maverick gelding finished as a runner-up in the Cancer Research UK Claiming Stakes over 6 furlongs at Hamilton, beating the hot favourite runner Saucy Brown.
He moved ahead to claim the title of the Lanarkshire Chamber Of Commerce Claiming Stakes again over 6 furlongs at the same venue on June 7.
