    Earthquakes show that there is a plate boundary there as earthquakes are caused by the plate boundaries suddenly releasing a lot of pressure, which has built up.

    Its not c. There is mantle convection pretty much everywhere, just under the layer of crust. So technically the answer could be c as well but then again technicalities are stupid

    Its not d. Earthquakes cannot in anyway suggest reversed polarity. Reversed polarity rock occurs in constructive plate margins. They can only be shown by measurements of the magnetic pattern on the ocean floors.
