Freshman Friday?? ?

mine is this friday so yea... is it true? the kids at my school say it is and they throw batteries at u and mark u with sharpies.. what should i do!?

dude just play it cool the amount of damage done at fish fri's all depends on the school. i got lucky my fish year everyone thought i was a sophomore b/c i took higher classes.

batteries seem a bit random but i would expect markers and stamps.

some signs the upper classman might have you wear. then again you always have the more rough people who pick on the person standing alone or lost and dunk them in a trash can.

and im sure you dont have to worry about your lockers beeing big enough to stuff you in.

Don't wear red!! You'll look like a Target! And try to look big and confident.  They won't know you're a freshman unless you look nervous.  

Also, there were rumors of freshman friday at my school...yeah, nothing ever happened. And when I was a senior, I just pretended that frosh didn't exist.  Seniors just care about getting out of school. Don't worry about it.

Well luckily i didn't have to worry about it last year, because all of the ap's and the principal wouldn't let anyone "celebrate" freshman friday.  

Which is good and bad.

Good for the obvious reasons, freshman don't want to get hurt and marked with sharpies.

Bad, because freshman friday is like initiation, if it doesn't happen you don't feel welcome.  And believe it or not, its would be one of your first  high school memories(besides the first day of school) and you would look back someday and laugh or something like that.  

Try just avoiding all of it, like standing near ap's and teachers if you're that worried about it.

well today for freshman friday they poured water all over the freshman and wrote a big f on their faces in black sharpie markers, they also threw some in the trash cans or tackled them in the hall ways.  But mostly it was just happening to boys.

well it depends on the school

today we threw freshman backpacks into garbage bags and threw them away maybe like 50 kids lost their stuff, free 8 ipods though lmao.

yea we are *** holes i guess but physically, freshman arent worth the trouble

i've luckily never even heard of that. well, till now that is. and im pretty sure that the teachers wouldn't let anyone throw a battery at you lol.

That usually isnt true, unless you someone who alot of the older kids know and have picked on you before.

They might. When my sister went to a new high school, the senior threw eggs at SOME of them. But just calm down, they probably wont even aim for you

Try to be cool. Upperclassmen always try to intimidate underclassman so try not to worry
