Freshman: Hard?

Question

I'm going to be a Freshman this year, and I'm not sure what to expect. My brother's and sister's are done, so I'm the youngest. I don't what is going to happen, So I've got some questions. Can you help?

-Do they still shove kid's in lockers?

-Do the Upper Class Men pick on the younger ones?

-Do you have to Shower in gym?

-How hard is it from being picked on to homework?

haha.. don't worry, it's not as bad as it seems. I just graduated HS june 2008..

so,

1. lol no not really.

2. sometimes, but thats life really. older kids pick on younger kids no matter where you're at.

3. you'll never be forced to do it, but if you dont you shoul definitly whipe off your body as best as you can and put on whatever you use to cover the odor.

4. your teachers know you're new to high school. They ease you into it and everybody is going to be really flexible until you get used to it. You'll do fine!

Yes, But just stand up for yourself... be friends with everyone.

We didn't but the girl showers never worked and some guys did but not all of them. Depends on the school.

How hard is it from being picked on to homework?

Not hard at all... Just do your homework... Don't let anyone else try to make you do theres.

A key in advice.

Be yourself no matter what. No who your friends are because high school changes everyone. My best friend ended up being my enemy.... You just have to go with the flow. and don't give people the wrong message about you.

Haha, aw. I'm going into sophomore year, so I obviously just finished being a freshman. I freaked out exactly like you when I first began freshman year. Maybe it was me, but freshman year was fun! No one was shoved in a locker and we didn't shower in gym. The only time freshman were picked on was at the pep rally and the last week before graduation. It'll be fun and easy. Don't worry - it won't be so bad.

I went to an all-girls school, so you'd think it'd be harder because girls tend to be bitchier, but it was alright. Don't worry - everything'll be okay. Time will go by fast! I'm still having trouble going into sophomore year - I can't believe it already!
