Freshman School Clothing?

Question

My favorite stores [brands] are; Hollister, Aeropostle, Abercrombie, Pink, Roxy, Delia's. I don't own any skirts and I really want some. Plad is cute, I like that. I don't like Polo's they aren't my style [no offense], My dress code is three fingers for the straps and for skirts mid-thigh. Can anyone help me? School starts soon and I don't have any new clothing!

I know i'll get thumbs down, but you're a freshman. Dont try to draw attention to yourself. Because we can spot a freshie trying to be cool from a mile away.

You'll feel the same way when you're an upperclassman, believe me. haha.

just buy whatever you want. Just go into stores and get what looks good. don't worry about what other people think/say.

well you're not gonna find any skirts at those stores that are mid-length because they have to be in with the fashions now which are skirts that show your *** basically so i suggest just going to a cheaper store like Marshall's or H&M

My suggestion is don't wear anything that is too "showy" its your freshman year and a whole new ball game. You don't want all the older (although cuter) guys thinking that you are just a piece of meat because you are dressy too provocatively. Do yourself a favor and buy clothes that you don't fall out of so you don't get put in a situation that you may not want to be in. and whats "in" right now is the low cut shirts and the tube tops and spaghetti strap tanks...be careful what store you shop in since the skirts will mostly be mini. Also, Pencil skirts are super cute! Below is a link for a ton of plaid pencil skirts.
