Freshman Year At Volleyball Tryouts help!?

I'm A Freshman At SMA; Thats In Manhatten, New York. Well anyways volleyball tryouts are in a few weeks and I dont know what to exspect at tryouts! help please!? I played volleyball a few years ago and I dont know if I'm that good anymore

im a freshman too, and im on the vball team! so at our tryouts we did two-a-days for a week. in the morning we would do fitness things like sprints, push up and crunch tests, and things like that. in the afternoon we would be tested on different skills (passing, serving, and hitting.) we also did a ton of games so the coaches can see what ur like when you play.

Tips:

Be loud when calling the ball, and yell outside, right here, back row, in/out, etc.

be nice to everyone there so the coaches know ur a good teamate.

if a coach gives u advice always take it with a smile :)

what to expect:

Chances are they will make you run a little, then they'll run drills and observe you. so practice bumping(/passing), setting and overhand serving!

@ tryouts and if you're tall practice spiking. just do your best!!! thats all you can do.....i wish you the best of luck!!!
