Freshman Year: Taking only one Honors and one AP, will this hurt me?

Question

I'm a freshman and i'm taking only two honors level classes:

-Honors Geometry

-(AP) Human Geography

The rest of my classes are:

-Biology

-Spanish

-English

So those are the only high level classes i can take freshman year, my counselor told me that in 10th grade though i'll be placed in all Honors and AP Courses.

in your question you didn't say if you thought it would hurt your like that you're not taking enough high level classes or you are taking too many. I think you will be fine. Biology was pretty hard and geometry was ok.,, so I think that your classes will work out and not be too hard or too easy. and you're super lucky to have a counselor!
