i started practice today and we ran 4 laps around the track. first two laps were good. when it got to the last two i was pretty tired. we were not timed today but will be tommorrow. i was the last one to finish. i am out of shape because of summer vacation. any advice to be a better runner?

Don't start off too quickly. If you race off at the start, you'll find it much harder to run the entire distance.
