Freshman hair advice.?

Well, tomorrow is my first day of high school.

I want to straighten my super thick, wavy hair.

What hair products should I put in it first to keep the bushiness down?

After I shampoo and condition,

I am thinking of blowdrying it on low.

Then put mousse and hair protectant.

Then hairspray,

Then blowdrying on high.

Then straightening.

Is this a bad process?

  1. yea its not a very good process.

too much heat can damage and break ur hair.

    do this:

    After you shampoo and condition

    put hair protectant

    hairspray

    blowdry (high)

    straighten

    :]

  2. skip the mousse and you should be good

  3. Sounds good to me. Try to get your mom or someone to help you out with it. I have SUPER thick curly hair and sometimes I need my moms help with the straightening process.

  4. just wash your hair, wait for it to dry, straighten it, DOVE hairspray! good luck!

  5. Okay that sounds good and all but my hair is very curly and frizzy. I bought Herbal Essence long term relationship leave in condition and then blow dry on high and then I use this stuff call Sleek and Smooth Iron smoother from the matrix in salons. The leave in conditioner runs from about $3-$4, I usually just get it in wal mart, and as for the Sleek and Smooth, I usually get that in the wal mart salon, Smart Style, and it usually runs from about $6-$12. And if you really want to get it super straight you can buy Sleek and Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner, thats what I use and my hair comes out smooth and feeling great!

You should try it, but remember wether your using shampoo or whatever a little bit goes a long way.
