  1. if u really run in the 4s, which isnt very likely, the average male takes 10 seconds off his times every year! that would mean that you could run a sub 3 minute mile, which is like olympic times! you could sign a full ride with any college in the nation!  o and btw, if you just ran a 4:27 five minutes ago, you would still be laying at the finish line.

  2. are you sure you're running 4 laps around the track for that 4:27?  That time will win just about every race until regionals and state.

  3. your time for the 100m is fanastic for a freshmen so I think you should do that event, and try the 200m and 400m. I was a freshmen last year and ran the 200m and 400m and totally loved them.

  4. Both times are really good, just do whichever you like best or would prefer to practice more often. Like if you hate long runs, like I do, then go for sprinting. Or if your team has a bunch of good sprinters but you'd be able to run in meets more often for distance, then take that into account too.

  5. Everyone is different.  What feels best for you?

  6. mile for sure thats a crazy time if its true under 12 for 100m is just ok not the best around so i would stick with that mile

  7. Try to see where you are compared to the others on the team or average time and build yourself from there. You can't get worse but you can get better. Your good at 100m and pretty good at 1600m.
