Freshman year...help!

Question

In a few weeks im going to be a freshman in high school. I am terrified. I dont know what to expect. I am shy so i dont make friends that easy. I am afraid that i am going to get lost or be separated from my friends at lunch and be all alone. I dont know what to wear. I am so freaked out. I just need tips. So i can forget about it and enjoy the rest of my summer. how was your freshman year? did you like it? Ten points for the best answer!

to be honest... my freshman year sucked... not because my school was horrible (its not), not because i didnt have friends... i met some great ones in class... it was because my parents split up and my mom was horrible... other than that it was pretty awesome...

High school is a chance to find ur self... stay close with ur old friends, but dont be afraid to meet new ones. Stay focused on school and not the whole "Social" part. I'm gonna b a senior and i have never had a boyfriend/been kissed or anything. Wear what u usually do... just step it up a little bit, but not so much that ur not ur self. if u ever need to talk feel free to add me to ur yahoo... [e-mail]

You will be fine! I was pretty nervous myself!

But everything was normal in the first few days.

Worry more about your education and do very well in school.

dont worry about it so much. its not that different from middle school. i dont know what your school is like but my school had an orientation and they gave us a map. i didnt really get lost and my school is HUGE  and the building set up is really confusing, so if i didnt get lost im sure youll be fine. im really shy too but somehow i made a lot of new friends my first year in high school so i guess you just gotta go with the flow haha.just wear whatever is your style and dont be someone your not. but  i like high school so much better than ms, you have more freedom so dont worry about and enjoy the rest of the summer. good luck!

hey that is ok just be yourself and people will like you just for how you are !!!!!! oh and be as best as you can you don't want to make your parents made for parent teacher conferences!!!!!!!
