  1. get low

  2. i'd start lifting weights and stay with it.  If you love the sport you'll learn to deal with the hits.. and the bruises are normal.. when i started as a receiver i had yellow bruises for a few days.

  3. you need to learn how to hit

get low and just give it everything you have

    dont be a puss

    and hit the weight room

  4. Hit the weightroom get stronger and just suck it up

  5. All you should do is go work out your legs and your arms, and chest, so that you have strength to push the D-line/ LBs out of the play, and its kinda normal to have red marks on your arm if your trying to use all your strength against men that are bigger than you, just try not to pull anything. So just start lifting weights especially your legs you need them the most blocking the line and LBs so that you can drive them backwards, also your chest and arms for maximum strength.

    hope that helps

  6. One bonus is you will be unlikely to be hit by the lineman. The worst you'll have to deal with is a safety or MAYBE a linebacker covering another receiver. When taking a hit, you want to protect the ball and HIT BACK with you body. Don't stop moving your feet and keep going.

Also gain some muscle, hit the gym and do build some of it up. If you are clearly going to get smoked your team is depending on you to get those few extra yards, so be a man and take it.

  7. good at kickin? try it.

  8. its doing nothing but preparing you for game time. your gonna take hits like that in the games. that's why you do it in practice. obviously if you went against the line, then the coaches don't expect you to run them over. its all about preparation. but my advice to you is since you're skinny, you might want to consider a weightlifting program that you can follow. that will help you bulk up so that you can take more hits like that with ease. thats what i had to do, i play running back and at first i was only 5'6" and 123 pounds, but now i am 5'6" 167. but pain is all a state of mind. if you think things like "OMG hes about to knock my head off", then more than likely it will happen. but if you say to yourself "I'm going to give it all i got" then you cant possibly do any better. as long as you don't quit and have a positive state of mind, you should be ok.

another piece of advice is when you see a safety coming directly for you and he's twice your size, a good idea is to do a WR slide. that is when you dive very low to the ground to avoid the head on contact, but still get extra yards. a lot of WRs do that, mainly smaller ones. but just keep a mindset that you are the best one out there and no one comes close to you

and those red marks on your arms arent nothing but skin bruises. thats perfectly normal. i get them all the time

  9. build your body up a bit

    eat more meat

    excersize

stay in shape and get stronger

    just remember not to quit
