Freshmen in high school....?

do freshman really get picked on? is high school as bad as they make it in the movies? any tips?

No it's not like the movies....yes some people get picked on but if anyone is going out of their way to make your life miserable then you need to report them to a counselor ( you can do this privatley so that they dont know) They have no right to do anything that abuses you in anyway....dont worry nobodys gonna beat you up.....i think guys might have it worse than girls tho, u know, showing that they are REAL men, but its all lame....just be confident, believe in yourself, smile, and have fun....dont let them see that your weak!

dude no man. people aren't bored enough to pick on freshies and if they are, it's usually just same old rudeness that everyone has these days. The same old pushing instead of saying excuse me and cutting in line. High school is not scary. You'll be nervous but that's it dude. Just stick close to your friends and act like you're not nervous at all. You'll be fine.

All of that is c**p. It is completely fine. I had a perfect day on my first day at school at a ninth grader. No one did anything mean to me what so ever. All of the higher grades at my school are nice, and most schools they are. People just make up ****.

High school is NOT that bad. I wouldn't go out of my way to annoy a 350 pound senior football player, but there is no reason you should have any problems in high school.

there will be certain individuals that will want to pick

on freshman. when i was a freshman, some junior asked me if i was

a freshman, i just rolled my eyes and told him i was a sophomore.

it worked for me, haha. but just chillax and dont act snotty just because you're in high school because then people will just not like you in general. have fun though!
