Frezer does not seem to be working in the cold

Question

i have a Hotpoint RFA 52 Fridge freezer the fridge part seems to be working fine the unit is less than 2 years old.
freezer kept in a porch area that is covered, temp in the region of - 9 - 11 c,
There is still ice in the freezer but products in the frezzer are defrosting, is this due to the cold,
will it start working if i move the freezer indoors.
