Friction Tape or Cloth Tape?

Question

I know friction tape can help with stickhandling control, but will it slow down my shot more than normal cloth tape?

cloth tape is better

friction tape doesn't work and it just makes it harder to tape your stick and it only comes in black

I always went with cloth tape, I never liked friction.

Wax is good too, makes the tape last longer.

its all preference really. i like cloth but i know a lot of players that prefer friction

i would just use cloth tape and put stick wax and baby powder, the powder will put less water/ice on ur blade.

Besides, friction tape is very hard to tape ur stick with and it also rips pretty easily.

I prefer cloth tape. I've always used it, though so  that might contribute towards my preference. Ever tape a pink stick rainbow colours on the blade? People will call you g*y until you take your helmet off and they realize you're a girl... funny story...

ive always preferred cloth myself. i think its just a personal preference

either or....I always prefered wax along with the tape too. It should not slow it down at all!!!(friction)
