Friday I will own my very first juicer?

although it is used the lady said "perfect condition" it is a Juice Man Mini. I have two unrelated questions concerning this. First is what fruits should I juice together for my first drink, cause I want my children to be excited about this too.

Will juicing fruits and vegies help with depression? My boss has told me and some of my coworkers that I need to be on anti depressants and that scares me to no end. I figure if being able to make my own juice may at least be a start? Yes?

  1. Here are some suggestions for the kids:

    Lemon and apples together make a great lemonade.  The apples act as a sweetener.

    Carrots, oranges or pineapple (ginger opt.)

    Watermelon, strawberries

    Apple, pear, kiwi (ginger opt.)

    Papaya, lemon

    Apple, kiwi, strawberry

    Grape, blueberry

    Some that will make you feel great:

    Apple, celery, parsley, lime

    Celery, kale, apple, parsley, ginger

    Carrot, Celery, Beet, Parsley, Kale

    Tomato, celery, parsley, jalapeno pepper

    Any drink with a lot of dark leafy greens is good for depression.  

    Those are some of my suggestions.  Otherwise just be creative.  Have fun!

    ps.  I read this quickly and thought you said your coworkers need to be on anti-depressants. I didn't realize they said you should be! You are the judge if you are depressed or not.  If not, don't listen to them.  If you are it's good that you are looking towards good food.  A healthy lifestyle is great for the blues.  You could also try raw cacao (it contains all the chemicals of love, I am serious) or St. John's Wort (although it gives me a headache, it works wonders for some people).
