  1. It's a holiday in all Catholic countries.  It's the feast of the Assumption.  Don't forget to go to Mass.

  2. It's a national holiday. The Assumption of the Virgin.

  3. No, JT is right...honestly!  It seems like they always have a day off for something or other!  Mostly some Catholic feast day.  And the rest of us don't know what it is...so, Feast of the Assumption, eh?  I was going to guess St. Joseph's feast day...I think that's in August.  Or the Virgin Mary...can't remember for sure.

Have fun!  Half the stuff you wanted to do will be closed.  Amusement parks and beaches and parks are good places to go on feast days.

  4. everydays a holiday in Spain, well it is when I go

  5. It's Assumption Day, the day Mary was assumed into heaven supposedly. The weather is going to be hot again so many will be on the Beach. I stay clear of the beach in August (damasiado gente).
