Friday quiz question?

Q; Justin Summers owns a holiday home in Bournemouth which has an A shaped roof. One side of the roof faces north and the other side faces south. The prevailing winds from the north are usually quite strong. The strange thing is that the stronger the north wind blows, the stronger the resulting updraft on the south side of the roof. Therefore, if a rooster lays an egg on the peak of the roof during a strong northerly wind, on which side should the egg fall most of the time?

  1. The updrafts from the north and south sides of the house will most certainly cancel each other out creating a sort of anti-gravity effect which will open a transdimensional wormhole just large enough for an egg to pass through and impregnate a hapless passing roster causing said roster to 'lay' an egg which will subsequently fall back through the wormhole to impregnate another roster in an alternate parallel universe. The real question is which came first the Roster or the Egg?

  2. It's the hens that do the laying

  3. It'll have to have a s*x change first.

  4. Roosters don't lay eggs.

  5. there is no egg, roosters don't lay eggs

  6. Ha, good one, to bad not that many people fell for it.

  7. If the air on the south side goes up, so must the air on the north side or it would accumulate on the north side. So when both sides experience updraft, the action side (north) is stronger then the reaction side. The unlucky ROOSTER which produces an egg from any random bodily opening would see his basilisk containing egg fall to the south.

  8. Roosters don't lay eggs.
