Friday’s draw for the purse worth £8,000 in the Romford Puppy Cup Finals
23rd of September will be the day when Romford race track opens its gates for the final event of the Romford Puppy Cup. It will decide the deserving winner of the purse worth £8,000.
Previously, on 12th September, the event started off with the Romford Puppy Cup's Heats.
Six heats took place, out which eighteen qualifiers were placed in the next round, the semi-finals.
In urge to win the title as well as the purse, the hounds got themselves involved in a major war.
At the end, the lucky ones along with the purse of £150, confirmed their traps in the semi-finals.
On the 16th of September, trainers were ready to send their hounds for the next war.
Three semi-finals were scheduled and the first two winners of each heat qualified for the finals.
The final draw for the Romford Puppy Cup Final starts from Ministry Missile, a two-year-old who was the purse winner of the 2nd semi-final of the Romford Puppy Cup.
The middle runner, being a 9/2 favourite, will begin his chase from trap 4 for trainer L D Sams.
Trap 2 will welcome Eden Star, who not only is the purse winner of the previous race, but he has also set a record for trainer B Draper, as the fastest hound of the track. Last time, the 6/4 ideal came out of trap 4 and produced an amazing hit.
Another middle runner who has reserved trap 3 for himself in the finals is D Childs’s Droopys Calvin, the purse winner of the semi-finals.
Droopys Calvin was immensely appreciated for his previous performance, and expectations are high from the young hound.
Slick Santiago managed to finish second for trainer K R Allsop in the semi-finals.
Last time, the black dog sadly went through very harsh situations, but he has qualified for the finals and will begin his chase from trap 4.
Droopys Lorenzo, who got defeated by Ministry Missile, has luckily placed himself in the final run. Trainer D Childs's black dog will initiate his chase for the purse from trap 5.
The last trap, trap 6, is ready to welcome Britania Lesley, who managed to finish second for trainer K J Tester in the semi-finals.
This time the black b***h will run from trap 6 in urge to win the big bank of money.
Though Eden Star’s previous performance has made him the ideal one, everyone has become a threat for each other.
The lucky trainer to bag the final will win a prize money of £9,650.
